Faxt started as just a little project to be used to send faxes from the
Internet to a restaurant for online ordering. (Remember
carryout.com?) Just something I could do for the ones I love.
For a while we let people send faxes from our online form called a TestDrive - for free. But after the problems on
September 11, 2001, I took it down so it couldn't be mis-used. I got to know a few really nice people through that
experiment - and some strange ones, too! (There were some strange faxes coming through from the Philipines, but
who can you report that to?)
Since the need for sending orders from a web site to a Fax machine isn't really that great (ok, it's totally poo-poo-ed today)
, I've branched out into other
types of Internet programming. Enterprise Silverlight Applications. HTML5 hybrid mobil applications. Controls. Charity web work!
A lot of different things that all add up to getting a broad range of programming experience. Experience that counts
when it comes to delivering a project on time and on budget.
