FAXT started as just a little project to be used to send faxes from the
Internet to a restaurant for online ordering. Just something I could do for the ones I love.
For a while we let people send faxes from our online form called a TestDrive - for free. But after the problems on
September 11, 2001, I took it down so it couldn't be mis-used. I got to know a few really nice people through that
experiment - and some strange ones, too!
Since the need for sending orders from a web site to a Fax machine isn't really that great, I've branched out into other
types of Internet programming. Some Electronic Document Delivery (online statements and invoices) Some ecommerce sites,
some free hosting for worthy causes. Some contract programming.
A lot of different things that all add up to getting a broad range of programming experience. Experience that counts
when it comes to delivering a project on time and on budget.
